Don't Think Twice is a feature film written and directed by Mike Birbiglia that deals with the personal journeys of a close knit improv troupe when one of its members, played by Keegan Michael Key, gets discovered by Saturday Night Live producers.
As theatrical lighting designer, my work focused on design for the improv theater and the SNL stage. Lighting for the improv theater is simple and colorless to contrast with the vibrant, flashiness that heralds a professional, celebrity stage.
